London Town House

This large house, built in the early to mid 1800s, originally housed some characterful features including a ballroom with a tiny adjoining ticket office. The wooden panelling and spring-loaded floor in the dance hall were carefully reinstated as true to the original as possible and the room is now an open-plan family kitchen. Digging down into the basement, bathrooms were created to evoke just the slightest essence of the Mediterranean using the tactile lime-based polished plaster mixed to our colour specification.

“Charlotte was utterly brilliant. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She was my complete rock during what was an emotional and turbulent building project. I love everything she created, from the wall colours to the furniture, wallpaper and lighting. She advised on what works and what doesn’t, where to source and where to re-use; she seriously knows her stuff. Charlotte shared her little black book of contacts which were invaluable to the efficiency of the project. She held my hand the whole way and picked me up when the chips were down. Best money I spent on the project by a long way.”
